Position: Precast Detailer - Rebar & CADS RC Specialist

Location: Guindy,Chennai

Experience : 4+ years

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Precast Detailer - Rebar & CADS RC Specialist to develop coordinated precast and reinforcement detailing packages for structural concrete elements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare 2D/3D shop drawings, erection layouts, and component details (panels, beams, columns, stairs, hollow-core slabs).

Develop comprehensive reinforcement detailing for precast elements, including BBS using CADS RC.

Validate reinforcement congestion, cover requirements, and concrete placement feasibility.

Interpret and coordinate architectural & structural drawings, resolving discrepancies early.

Liaise with engineers, architects, and project teams for constructability and issue resolution.

Collaborate with BIM teams to integrate precast and rebar models (Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD).

Ensure all outputs meet QA/QC, industry standards, and safety requirements.

Provide technical support to production teams and assist in value-engineering efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma/Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering.

5+ years of precast detailing experience, with 3+ years in reinforcement detailing using CADS RC.

Strong knowledge of precast production and erection methods.

Proficiency in CADS RC, AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, Revit, MS Excel.

Familiarity with international codes (BS, IS, ACI, Eurocode).

Key Skills & Competencies

Accuracy in detailing & dimensional precision.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Effective communication & coordination abilities.

Problem-solving and proactive approach to design challenges.

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
