**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities Landscape Design & Planning**
- Develop creative and sustainable landscape designs for parks, gardens, commercial spaces, residential communities, and urban developments.
- Select appropriate plant species based on climate, soil conditions, and ecological sustainability.
- Prepare detailed landscape plans, renderings, and 3D visualizations.
- Ensure designs align with environmental regulations, zoning laws, and site constraints.

**Project Management & Implementation**
- Oversee the execution of landscape projects from concept to completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure proper installation of landscape elements.
- Develop project budgets, cost estimates, and timelines while ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality assurance of landscape construction.

**Horticultural Expertise**
- Provide expert guidance on plant selection, soil preparation, pest control, and irrigation techniques.
- Implement sustainable landscaping practices, including xeriscaping and native plant integration.
- Develop maintenance plans to ensure long-term plant health and aesthetic appeal.

**Client & Stakeholder Collaboration**
- Work closely with clients, municipalities, and environmental agencies to develop landscape strategies that meet functional and aesthetic needs.
- Present design proposals and reports to stakeholders, explaining concepts, sustainability aspects, and project feasibility.
- Address client feedback and make necessary modifications to landscape plans.

**Environmental & Sustainable Practices**
- Promote eco-friendly landscape solutions, such as green roofs, rain gardens, and water-efficient irrigation systems.
- Ensure compliance with local environmental laws, conservation efforts, and urban greening initiatives.
- Incorporate climate-resilient planting and biodiversity-friendly landscape designs.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- **Education**: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Environmental Design, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 7-10 years in landscape architecture, with a focus on horticulture and sustainable landscaping.
- **Technical Proficiency**:

- Expertise in landscape design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of horticultural principles, soil science, and irrigation systems.
- Familiarity with sustainable landscape techniques, LEED certification is a plus.
- **Soft Skills**: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- **Certifications**: Professional landscape architecture certification (e.g., ASLA, RLA) is preferred.

**Work Environment**
- Office-based work with frequent field visits to project sites.
- Interaction with clients, government agencies, and contractors.
- Occasional travel for site inspections and industry conferences.
