Job Title: CloudStack Administrator

Department: IT Infrastructure / Cloud Services

Reports To: IT Manager / Cloud Operations Head

Experience: 3-7 years

Salary - 20k -40 k per month

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and manage Apache CloudStack environments.
- Maintain virtual machines, templates, volumes, snapshots, and zones.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Manage cloud storage (Ceph, NFS, etc.), hypervisors (KVM/Xen/VMware), and networking (VLAN, SDN).
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide root cause analysis.
- Integrate with authentication systems (LDAP/Active Directory) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Coordinate with development and DevOps teams to support deployment requirements.
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
- Document infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards and policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Apache CloudStack.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) system administration.
- Experience with hypervisors (KVM preferred, Xen or VMware optional).
- Good understanding of cloud networking concepts (VLANs, firewalls, load balancers).
- Familiarity with storage systems (Ceph, NFS, iSCSI).
- Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, etc.).
- Familiarity with APIs and integration methods for cloud platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
