**Job Title**: Academic Counselor cum Tele-caller

**Job Summary**:The Academic Counselor cum Tele-caller is responsible for providing academic counseling and support to students, both in-person and through tele-calling. This role involves advising students on academic programs, career choices, and personal development while also reaching out to prospective and current students through telephone calls to provide information and assistance.

**Responsibilities**:
**Student Advising (In-person)**:Provide face-to-face academic counseling to students, helping them select appropriate courses and develop academic plans.
Assist students in setting and achieving their academic and career goals.
Address students' academic concerns and provide solutions.

**Tele-calling (Remote Interaction)**:Make outbound calls to prospective students to provide information about academic programs, admissions, and available support services.
Follow up with current students through phone calls to offer academic guidance and support.

**Career Counseling**:Offer guidance on career exploration, job searching, and resume building.
Organize career development workshops and events.
Assist students in internships and job placements.

**Personal Development**:Provide support for students' personal development, including time management and study skills.
Offer guidance on stress management and coping with academic challenges.

**Educational Planning**:Stay informed about academic program requirements and changes.
Assist in course scheduling and degree planning.

**Record Keeping**:Maintain accurate records of student interactions and academic plans.
Generate reports and analyze data to track student progress.

**Resource Referral**:Connect students with campus resources, including tutoring, counseling services, and disability support.

**Community Engagement**:Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to support student success.
Participate in committees or working groups related to student services and success.

**Qualifications**:

- A bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, education, or a related field (a master's degree may be preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone.
- Empathy and the ability to work with a diverse student population.
- Knowledge of academic programs, degree requirements, and career options.
- Familiarity with counseling techniques and resources.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student information.
- Proficiency in using tele-calling and communication tools.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 per month
