**Profile: General Ledger (GL)**

**Location: Pune**

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze and interpret relevant financial information
- Entering financial data such as bank charges, accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports
- Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and general ledger balances are correct
- Completing bank reconciliations on a weekly basis and monthly basis
- Intercompany Accounting
- Balance sheet reconciliation (only low risk accounts)
- Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping
- Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards
- Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting

**Technical and Behavioral Competencies**:

- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization
- In-depth knowledge of accounting concepts, accounting standards and regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Efficient time-management
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Willingness to work in UK shifts
- Ability to work under pressure

**Specific Qualifications Required**: M.Com

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Master's (required)

**Experience**:

- total work: 3 years (required)
- SAP: 1 year (preferred)
- Oracle: 1 year (preferred)
