Smts - DevOps

**Responsibilities**:

- To enable modern CI/CD pipelines leaded to single click build/provisioning/deployment of dev, test, perf environments
- Collaborate with various stake holders to ensure smooth release deployment & assist growing business needs by adhering to DevOps principles
- Take ownership and manage projects that vary in size and scope depending on requirements for teams enabling Continuous Integration and automation of service Integration, delivery, and deployments
- Administer automated CI/CD systems and tools for development and test teams
- Troubleshoot deployment issues on non-prod & production environments
- Develop tools/software to automate everything in a repeatable fashion
- Collaborate with related product development teams to drive automation of configuration management, build, release, deployment and monitoring processes
- Design the structure, plan the capacity, performance fine-tune, monitor the components of the deployment pipeline
- Closely work with the infrastructure, networking, development teams to ensure timely deliverable
- Open to learn and explore new things everyday

Experience Needed:

- Minimum 8+ years of experience in IT industry
- Excellent hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience and good understanding of Cloud computing in maintaining Dev/QA/Prod deployment best practices(AWS preferred)
- Should have hands-on exposure to AWS services for day-day activities
- Experience in DevOps automation tools and well versed with DevOps Frameworks, Agile.
- Hands on experience in Dockerization of Applications and experience developing Dockerfiles
- Extensive experience in deploying, maintaining, supporting and troubleshooting the current toolset used by our engineering teams such as GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, ArgoCD, K8s etc along with Product deployments
- Strong scripting knowledge using shell, Python
- Proficient in Cloud Operations and hands on performing an investigation, root cause analysis and providing a solution.
- Strong knowledge of one or more source control tools like Git, Gitlab, BitBucket etc.
- Experience working using test driven development and similar practices
- Experience in developing POCs(MVPs) for faster DevSecOps adoption to various internal teams and continuously provide latest tools and services to business units.
- Experience of SDLC tools, JIRA and Team City
- Good hands-on experience using Docker and Container orchestration is required. K8s is preferable.(e.g., Docker, Containerd, GitOps, EKS/AKS)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to create good and maintainable documentation. Onboarding guides, Tools usage etc.
- Experience in Incident Management and strong understanding of ITIL service operations and scrum methodologies
- Create and update technical RCA notes for failures and production problems.
- Should have a learning attitude

Good to have skills but not limited to:

- Knowledge on SQL is an added advantage
- Working experience on Data Governance on enterprise scale is highly desired. Exposure to Data Governance open source tools (Data Quality, Metadata Management, Security, etc.)
- Knowledge on Configuration management tools like Chef, Puppet or Ansible
- Knowledge of Open-Source Tools - Kafka, ELK, Visualization Tools, API’s and Microservices
- Knowledge on Security tools like - Clair, Anchor, Trufflehog etc
- Knowledge on IaC tools - Terraform
