- 5+ years software development experience in an enterprise level engineering environment demonstrating increasing levels of technical leadership. 3+ years of work experience with ETL, Data Modeling, and Data Architecture. Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop/Hive/Spark with Spark as primary. Fluent in one or more of the following languages: Scala, Java, Python and AWS or equivalent cloud technology with Scala as primary
- Strong experience in using streaming and event driven architecture patterns. Expert-level skills in writing spark jobs in Scala. Solid communication skills and team player. Experience building low latency systems using big data technologies. Preferred Qualifications
- design and implement batch and stream data processing pipelines, knows how to optimize the distribution, partitioning, and MPP of high-level data structures. - Knowledge of Data Security, Engineering and Operational Excellence using standard methodologies.
