**Location**:Shalimar Bagh, Delhi

**Salary**: Upto 12k

**Timings: 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.**

**Job Summary**:
The Daycare Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in a daycare setting. The teacher will assist in fostering the children’s growth in areas such as social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. The Daycare Teacher will work closely with children, parents, and other staff members to ensure that children receive the care and attention they need.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Child Care and Supervision**:

- Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Attend to children's basic needs, such as feeding, diapering, and assisting with bathroom routines.
- Foster a caring and supportive environment to help children feel secure and valued.
- **Lesson Planning and Implementation**:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Incorporate learning through play, arts and crafts, songs, storytelling, and outdoor activities.
- Tailor lessons to the developmental stages and individual needs of each child.
- **Behavioral Support**:

- Encourage positive behavior, helping children develop social skills such as sharing, taking turns, and following instructions.
- Manage challenging behaviors with patience and consistency, using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Create a positive environment to support the development of good communication and problem-solving skills.
- **Parental Communication**:

- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s development, milestones, and any concerns.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the child’s progress, behavior, and activities.
- Address any parent questions or concerns in a professional and supportive manner.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Ensure a clean and safe environment, following all health and safety regulations.
- Administer first aid as needed and communicate any injuries or health concerns to parents and supervisors.
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, health, and development.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work as part of a team with other daycare staff to ensure smooth daily operations and consistency in teaching and care practices.
- Assist in organizing and participating in special events, celebrations, and field trips.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in training sessions, workshops, or conferences to stay up-to-date with early childhood education best practices.
- Keep current with childcare regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance with local and state requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Prior experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
