IMG Publications Author is a Technical Authoring role in Passenger Car Automotive Business in IMG.
- Social skills to build bridges and network with other divisions within Ford Motor Company (must)
- 5+ years of Experience in Publications Authoring environment in Passenger vehicles domain
- Expertise in Passenger vehicle Automotive domain
- Expertise in Odyssey or any other content Management system
- Expertise in XML software’s like X-Metal or Arbortex
- Expertise in Adobe suites (All Adobe software’s)
- Expertise in Team Center
- Expertise in DMS and dealer facing publishing sites
- Microsoft Excel, Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and demonstrate competence in Project Management
- Higher or equal Degree/Diploma in Engineering
- Consumer mindset (must)
- Some related automotive/dealership experience (preferred).
- Flexibility to participate with global time zones (must)
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills required. (must)
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks meticulously.
- High Attention to detail
- Seeking individuals that are self-starters (must)
- Ability to work automonously (must)bortex
- Should have vehicle repair knowledge (hands on) on both mechanical and electrical vehicle systems. Proficient in diagnostic authoring content.
- Should develop logical pinpoint test steps to support technician to identify reasons for failure.
- Strong knowledge in reading and understanding vehicle electrical architectures.
- Based on the vehicle electrical architecture existing diagnostic content should be validated and updated
- Work with engineers to develop diagnostic repair procedure based on engineering document (Part II specifications).
- Strong knowledge in understating the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) and parameter identifications (PID) from engineering document (Part II specifications)
- Strong knowledge in understanding the system diagrams & communication network (CAN & LIN).
