**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Ink Formulation & Color Matching**: Prepare and mix ink batches according to customer specifications, ensuring accurate color matching and consistency across different production runs.
- **Substrate Compatibility**: Understand the behavior of inks on different substrates and ensure proper adhesion, durability, and quality during the production process.
- **Testing & Quality Control**: Conduct regular testing of ink samples to ensure they meet color accuracy, performance, and print quality standards.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve any ink-related issues that may arise during the production process, minimizing downtime and waste.
- **Collaboration with Teams**: Work closely with production, design, and quality control teams to ensure seamless operations and consistency across different production lines.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate and detailed records of ink formulations, color matches, and production results.
- **Compliance & Safety**: Adhere to safety guidelines when handling inks and chemicals, ensuring proper storage and usage according to safety protocols.
- **Innovation & Improvement**: Stay informed on the latest developments in ink technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the ink matching process.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Proven experience as an Ink Matcher, Color Technician, or a similar role in the packaging, printing, or related industries.
- **Technical Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of ink types (solvent-based, UV, and water-based inks) and their behavior on various substrates, especially within the flexible pouch packaging industry.
- **Substrate Expertise**: Knowledge of different substrates used in flexible packaging, and how various inks interact with them to achieve optimal results.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong troubleshooting skills to address ink-related production challenges and optimize processes.
- **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional eye for detail, particularly in color matching, to ensure the highest quality output.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with other departments such as design, production, and quality control.
- **Safety Awareness**: Understanding of ink handling, storage, and safety standards.
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in ink formulation, printing technologies, or related fields is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with **flexographic printing** processes.
- Familiarity with **environmentally friendly** and **sustainable ink technologies**.
- Previous experience in the flexible pouch packaging industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
