**Site Supervisor (2-5 Years of Experience)**
**Location - Bihar**
This role requires a mix of technical knowledge, leadership, and communication skills to efficiently manage site operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Daily Site Supervision and Management**
- **Supervise day-to-day construction activities** on-site, ensuring that work is being carried out according to project plans and specifications.
- **Manage and guide site workers**, ensuring they understand and follow the project’s requirements and instructions.
- Monitor the quality of work and make sure it meets the required standards and specifications.
- **Ensure that work progresses according to schedule**, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Organize the work schedule and assign tasks to workers and subcontractors.
**2. Safety and Compliance**
- **Ensure a safe working environment** by strictly enforcing safety regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct **daily safety checks** to ensure workers are using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety procedures.
- **Identify and mitigate safety risks**, and report any accidents or unsafe working conditions to the Project Manager or Safety Officer.
- Monitor compliance with **environmental and local building regulations** during the construction process.
**3. Material and Resource Management**
- Ensure that the necessary materials, equipment, and tools are available on-site as per the project schedule.
- **Coordinate the delivery of materials**, ensuring they are stored correctly and used efficiently to avoid wastage.
- **Track material usage** and report shortages, delays, or damage to the Project Manager or procurement team.
- Oversee the **maintenance and proper use of equipment** on-site, ensuring they are in good working condition.
**4. Quality Control**
- **Monitor the construction process** to ensure that the work is being done to the required quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular **inspections of the worksite**, identifying any issues or defects and reporting them to the Project Manager.
- Ensure that **quality checks are performed** on materials and work processes before proceeding to the next stage of construction.
- Assist in implementing any **corrective actions** needed to rectify quality issues on-site.
**5. Coordination with Subcontractors and Workers**
- **Coordinate with subcontractors** to ensure they are adhering to the schedule, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Assist in **monitoring subcontractor performance**, addressing issues promptly, and ensuring that their work meets project requirements.
- **Maintain clear communication** with the construction team, including laborers, engineers, and the project manager, to ensure smooth operations.
**6. Documentation and Reporting**
- **Maintain accurate records** of daily site activities, including labor attendance, materials used, and progress made.
- Report daily, weekly, or monthly updates on site progress, safety concerns, and any challenges to the Project Manager.
- Keep detailed logs of any **changes, deviations, or delays** that occur during the construction process.
- Ensure all **documentation is up-to-date** and available for audits or inspections as required.
**7. Problem Solving and Issue Resolution**
- **Identify and resolve issues** that arise during construction, such as delays, material shortages, or technical problems.
- Address concerns from workers or subcontractors regarding work practices or project specifications.
- **Report issues to the senior management** when required and assist in the resolution of major problems.
**8. Project Coordination**
- Ensure that all work is done **according to the project plan**, maintaining adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Liaise with engineers, architects, and other professionals to clarify technical issues and ensure smooth coordination on-site.
- Ensure that construction activities are aligned with the **approved drawings** and construction documents.
- Assist the Site Engineer or Project Manager in **scheduling inspections** and quality assessments as per project milestones.
**Key Skills and Qualifications**:
- **Education**: A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Some experience in construction or site supervision is essential.
- **Experience**: 2-6 years of experience in civil construction, specifically in site supervision and coordination.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Good understanding of construction processes, drawings, materials, and safety regulations.
- **Leadership Skills**: Ability to supervise and motivate a team of workers and subcontractors.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify potential issues on-site and implement solutions effectively.
