Doctor of Medicine-panchkarma

We are looking for Doctor of Medicine in Panchakarma on immediate basis with valid degree.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Ø To ensure timely consultation of patients.

Ø To prescribe suitable treatment/ medicine/ oil/ therapy according to patient’s disease and acquire the patient’s previous medical history.

Ø To decide the treatment after assessment of the condition of patient and the imbalance of _doshas_.

Ø To be up to date with latest developments/ treatments in their fields and write blogs on the latest diseases/ medical research.

Ø To maintain patient’s files accurately as per NABH norms and ensure completion of patient’s file work on daily basis.

Ø To regularly monitor therapies that are being given to the patients.

Ø To monitor medicine consumption rate and ensure adequate availability of stock as per NABH norms.

Ø To project requirement of medicines/ oils/ other essentials to the management well in advance and ensure their timely procurement.

Ø To ensure preparation related to treatment well in advance and monitor the same.

Ø To regularly check up therapy rooms and instruct therapies in maintaining it to the highest standards.

Ø To counsel therapists and nursing staff on patient’s handling.

Ø To prepare/ update Dos and Don’ts according to Disease/ Treatment.

Ø To visit therapy room during therapies.

Ø To maintain Inventory as per NABH norms.

Ø To maintain proper record of the medicine/ oils used in each treatment.

Ø To instruct Therapies for preparation of Potli (PPS) separately for each patient and monitor the same.

Ø To check and update records pertaining to the treatment scheduled on the next day.

Ø To ensure that Leech, Vaaman, Virechan, Agnikarma, Marma Therapies are conducted only under the observation of Doctor.

Ø To ensure hygiene and proper maintenance of Panchakarma equipment/ other medical equipment.

Ø To ensure that the oils in the therapies are used as per the patient’s requirement.

Ø To visit IPD patients as per the given schedule and sign relevant documents.

Ø Restoring patients to good health by administering or suggesting suitable treatment/ therapies.

Ø Counseling the patients and informing them about the functions of each treatment.

Ø To find out/diagnose the root cause of the patient’s disease.

Ø Monitoring and evaluating the implications of treatments.

Ø Carry out any other duties assigned by the management.

Ø The onus of patient lies on the Doctor for the entire course of treatment. Hence, it is to be ensured that right treatment is given to the patient; else, the doctor will be held responsible for the consequences.

Ø Should monitor the movement of patient in the hospital and advice them the Dos and Dont’s that are to be followed during the course of treatment.

**Required Skills**:
Ø Should be holding PG ( Doctor of Medicine, Panchakarma) with atleast 4-5 years relevant experience.

Ø Should have good command and be able to conduct Vaman Karma, Marma therapy, Uttarvasti procedures.

Ø Should have good command and be able to conduct Panchakarma therapies like NASYAM, Role of Matravasti, all types of oils and virechan vasti.

Ø Should have good communication skills and computer knowledge.

Ø Should be able to maintain confidentiality in handling all the hospital records.

Ø Should have basic computer knowledge.

Ø Should have good communication skills and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
