**1.**Librarian.**

**(a) Key Responsibilities.**
- Oversee the daily operations of the library, including cataloging, classification, and maintenance of books, periodicals, and digital resources.
- Ensure the library is well-organized, accessible, and conducive to reading and research.
- Regularly update the library's inventory to include new and relevant materials.
- Guide students in using library resources effectively for academic research and personal development.
- Collaborate with teachers to provide resources that complement the CBSE curriculum and classroom instruction.
- Develop and enforce library rules, ensuring a respectful and productive environment.
- Monitor the proper use of library resources and maintain discipline among students.
- Maintain accurate records of library transactions, book loans, and overdue items.
- Prepare reports on library usage and recommend improvements to school management.

**(b)Qualifications & Skills.**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science (B.Lib./M.Lib.) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in library management, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Strong organizational and cataloging skills.
- Proficiency in library management software and digital resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff.

**(c) Additional Requirements**:

- A warm and approachable personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s mission and vision of holistic education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and contribute to the overall growth of the school.
