You will be working as Buyer and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Procurement & Logistics Management and will be responsible for purchasing or buying materials according to required technical specification, price, reschedule and terms. Ensuring purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Determining the required materials and possibly generating purchase orders, ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards and are cost-efficient schedule the supply of materials / components to meet production requirements and minimum safety stock levels
- Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production, track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure GRN preparation and invoice processing
- Responsible for payment reconciliation for both procurement and sale if any. Resolving supplier concerns and evaluating supplier performance in conjunction with members of the purchasing team
- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns. Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) / project requirements) in terms of quantity, quality, delivery, sustainability and price
- Conducting all procurement and logistics activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures
- Visiting all critical suppliers for support on placed order and resolve any issues with respect to quantity, rejection and payments processing

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
- Require 5 to 8 years of experience
- Pro-supply global supplier relationship management kept updated as defined in pro-supply procedure
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
