**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver engaging and innovative **IBDP Theatre Arts curriculum**, facilitating both the theoretical and practical aspects of the program.
- Guide students through the **IBDP internal assessments** and prepare them for final performance projects, including research, staging, and self-reflection.
- Utilize **TCL Speech and Drama** methodologies to enhance students' artistic development and prepare them for **TCL examinations**.
- Direct and produce **school-wide theatrical performances** that reflect both classical and contemporary theatre traditions.
- Foster a creative, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where students are encouraged to explore diverse performance styles, including **devised theatre, improvisation, physical theatre, and global theatre traditions**.
- Collaborate with the wider arts department to integrate drama and performance into school events, and contribute to extracurricular activities like drama clubs, festivals, and competitions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students interested in pursuing performing arts as a career, with a focus on international opportunities.
**Qualifications**:
- **
Master's degree** in Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, or related field.
- ** IBDP certification** in Theatre Arts with a minimum of **5 years’ teaching experience** in IBDP-accredited schools.
- ** TCL (Trinity College London) qualification** in Speech and Drama or Performing Arts.
- Demonstrated experience directing **student-led performances** and preparing students for graded exams or performances.
- Strong understanding of **global theatre traditions** and interdisciplinary approaches to drama education.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Proficiency in integrating **multicultural theatre** into lessons and performances.
