**Production Supervisor (Mattress Manufacturing Unit)**

**Position Overview**
As a Production Supervisor in a mattress manufacturing unit, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production operations to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of high-quality mattresses. You will lead a team of production workers, monitor production processes, enforce safety protocols, and maintain productivity standards. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, implementing production schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Production Management**
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Monitor production lines, ensuring smooth operations, and addressing any bottlenecks or issues that may arise.
- Optimize production processes, implement efficiency improvements, and minimize waste to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Plan and schedule production orders, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to production plans.

**Team Leadership and Development**
- Lead, motivate, and train a team of production workers, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Assign tasks, monitor work performance, provide guidance, and resolve any personnel-related issues.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide coaching to enhance team skills and performance.

**Quality Control and Safety Compliance**
- Enforce strict quality control measures to ensure that mattresses meet established standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify defects, implement corrective actions, and maintain product quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce safety protocols to create a safe working environment.

**Continuous Improvement**
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and increased efficiency.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes, technology upgrades, and other improvement projects.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the mattress industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control standards, and safety protocols.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve production issues.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹11,193.93 - ₹28,455.32 per month
