**Job Title**: Production Supervisor

**Department**: Manufacturing/Operations
**Reports To**: Production Manager
**Location**: [ Theethipalayam, Coimbatore)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervise Production Operations**:

- Coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Ensure proper staffing and resource allocation to meet production schedules.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Manage and mentor production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, deadlines, and safety standards.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that production meets quality standards by inspecting products and addressing defects.
- Work closely with the quality control team to implement corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain detailed production records, including any quality issues encountered.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all production activities adhere to company safety policies and regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure workers are following proper procedures.
- Investigate and report any safety incidents or near-misses.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Identify areas for improvement in production processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with management to implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:

- Prepare and submit daily production reports to management.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, downtime, and workforce performance.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience may be considered.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
