Location: Salem, Tamil Nadu

Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our growing digital media team. You will be responsible for editing high-quality and engaging videos for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram channels, focused on regional news, lifestyle, entertainment, and trending topics.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form and long-form videos tailored for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and Facebook videos

Add subtitles (especially in Tamil), text overlays, transitions, sound effects, and background music

Cut raw footage, trim, and enhance for better viewer retention

Work closely with content creators, scriptwriters, and social media teams

Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, durations, engagement hooks)

Maintain brand consistency and visual identity across platforms

Handle video export, compression, and timely publishing support

**Required Skills**:
Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut/Filmora for reels

Knowledge of social media trends and video formats

Ability to create engaging thumbnails and intro/outro clips

Experience with color grading, audio balancing, and motion graphics is a plus

Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement

Basic knowledge of Tamil news, culture, and local topics is an advantage

**Qualifications**:
Any degree or diploma in Multimedia, Visual Communication, or related field

1+ years of experience in social media video editing preferred (freshers with a strong portfolio also considered)

Must be fluent in Tamil

Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Mandatory)

Graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator

Knowledge of YouTube Studio and basic SEO

Live streaming experience using OBS or similar tools
