Job Summary

The Reliability and Improvement Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of equipment and systems by implementing reliability-focused maintenance strategies. This role involves analyzing equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement, and executing corrective and preventive measures to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

Reliability Maintenance- Perform reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) to optimize equipment performance.- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations to identify recurring issues.- Implement corrective actions to minimize breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.

Continuous Improvement- Identify and propose process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.- Assist in the development and execution of maintenance improvement projects.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean maintenance practices.

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to reduce unplanned downtime.- Utilize predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.- Monitor equipment health and recommend timely interventions.

Spare Parts & Inventory Management- Ensure critical spare parts are available to support reliability initiatives.- Assist in evaluating the condition of spare parts and recommending replacements.

Safety & Compliance- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure maintenance activities comply with safety regulations.- Participate in safety audits and recommend reliability improvements to enhance workplace safety.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.- Minimum 1 years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, or a similar role.- Knowledge of predictive maintenance techniques and reliability analysis tools.- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.- Experience with data analysis for equipment reliability.- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
