Job Title: Blasting and Painting Specialist
Specialized in Copper Blasting or Grid Blasting

Reports to: Maintenance/Operations Manager

Location: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Mazgaon, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400010

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Blasting:
1. Operate sandblasting and other blasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces.

2. Select appropriate blasting media and methods.

3. Ensure safe blasting practices.

Painting:
2. Prepare surfaces for painting (taping, masking).

3. Match colors and finishes.

Additional Responsibilities:
1. Inspect and assess surfaces for damage or wear.

2. Maintain equipment and tools.

3. Follow safety protocols (PPE, HazMat).

4. Collaborate with colleagues.

**Requirements**:
1. 4+ year of experience in blasting and painting.

3. Physical stamina for manual labor.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certification in blasting and painting

2. Experience with industrial painting equipment.

3. Familiarity with safety regulations (OSHA).
