Nutanix has a design first philosophy that brings consumer grade design and web scale engineering together to create an amazing user experience which has only been seen in the consumer world with the likes of Apple and Tesla. **Design contractor will**: - Work on UX design projects by collaborating with the broader designers, Product Managers, UI developers, back end engineers and other Engineering team members - Follow the direction of our flagship product’s design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team - Work with UI development and backend engineering teams to ensure effective execution of designs - Have good UX portfolio showcasing good interaction design skills **Required skillset**: - Able to work effectively in a fast-moving enterprise environment - Stay current on technology trends to inform and inspire modern design - Has good Presentation and Communication Skills - Must present and communicate their design work to all stakeholders - Regularly communicates project status and shares design iterations **Minimum requirements**: - Passion for design, telling customer stories, and simplifying the complex problems - Ability to work on the latest wireframing/ design and prototyping tools - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Able to work cooperatively and communicate effectively - Experience working across interactions, UI and visual design will be a plus. **Perks**: - Competitive stipend - Telephone and Internet Reimbursement - Free Food (3 days a week at the moment)
