Piping Supervisor

**Position**: Piping Supervisor **(Shutdown)**

**Location**: Saudi Arabia

**Salary**:3500-5000 SAR

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Supervise and lead a team of piping fitters, welders, and other technical staff.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that team members are equipped with the necessary resources and tools to complete their work.
- Monitor the progress of piping installations and maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
- Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure work is carried out safely and in compliance with all relevant standards.
- **Piping Installation and Maintenance**:

- Oversee the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems according to design specifications and safety standards.
- Ensure that all welding, fabrication, and piping activities are performed as per project plans and meet industry standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM).
- Inspect installed piping systems for defects or leaks and ensure timely repairs are made.
- Coordinate with project managers to review drawings, blueprints, and design documents, ensuring proper understanding of the scope and requirements.
- **Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular inspections of work completed to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Monitor the quality of materials used in piping installations and report any discrepancies.
- Ensure that all piping work complies with local regulations, project specifications, and company standards.
- Document and maintain records of inspections, tests, and work completed for quality assurance purposes.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all piping work activities.
- Promote a safety-first culture and ensure that all team members follow safe work practices, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety audits and inspections regularly to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
- Ensure proper training for team members on safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Coordinate daily operations with other teams, including mechanical, electrical, and civil teams, to ensure that project work proceeds smoothly and efficiently.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to project managers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment needed for piping work.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the piping team, working with management to find timely solutions.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including daily reports, project progress updates, and safety compliance checks.
- Provide regular updates to project managers on work progress, any challenges, and adjustments needed.
- Ensure proper handover of documentation, including test reports, quality records, and inspection forms upon completion of projects.
- **Resource and Material Management**:

- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment required for piping installations and repairs.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of piping materials to prevent damage and ensure availability when needed.
- Manage the allocation of tools and equipment for the team, ensuring they are in good working condition.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or related field. Equivalent technical certifications may also be considered.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
