**Position: Senior Carpenter Supervisor**

**Job Summary**: The Senior Carpenter Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing carpentry projects, ensuring the successful execution of construction and woodworking tasks. This role involves leading a team of carpenters, coordinating project activities, and ensuring that work is completed in accordance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Leadership**:

- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of carpenters.
- Provide guidance and direction to ensure the team meets project objectives and deadlines.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

**Project Planning and Coordination**:

- Collaborate with project managers to plan and schedule carpentry tasks.
- Ensure efficient allocation of resources and manpower for each project.
- Coordinate with other construction professionals to streamline project workflows.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any defects or deviations from project specifications.

**Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce and promote a culture of safety on-site.
- Ensure all carpentry activities comply with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for the carpentry team.

**Materials Management**:

- Oversee the procurement and inventory management of carpentry materials.
- Monitor material usage and waste to optimize resource efficiency.

**Technical Expertise**:

- Stay updated on industry best practices and new carpentry techniques.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

**Communication**:

- Maintain open and clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and other construction professionals.
- Report on project progress, challenges, and achievements regularly.

**Budget Management**:

- Assist in developing and managing project budgets related to carpentry work.
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical fitness and stamina for hands-on work and site visits.

**Education and Certifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is a plus).
- Carpentry apprenticeship or relevant certification.
- Additional certifications in project management or safety are advantageous.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
