- **Preparation and Baking**:
- Assist in the preparation of doughs, batters, and fillings according to recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
- Help with the baking, decorating, and finishing of bakery products such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
- Measure and mix ingredients accurately, following recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
- **Learning and Development**:
- Learn and develop skills in baking, pastry arts, and dessert preparation under the guidance of experienced chefs.
- Observe and practice various techniques for mixing, kneading, rolling, and baking different types of bakery products.
- Take initiative to learn about new recipes, baking trends, and techniques.
- **Quality Control**:
- Ensure that all bakery items are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Taste and test baked goods to ensure they meet quality and flavor expectations.
- Assist in checking and maintaining the quality of ingredients and finished products.
- **Kitchen Operations**:

- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Report any safety hazards or issues to the Head Baker or supervisor.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work as part of a team, assisting other kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely production of bakery items.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving recipes, processes, and product offerings.
**Key Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A certificate or diploma in Baking, Pastry Arts, or Culinary Arts is preferred.
- **Experience**:
- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen environment is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- A passion for baking and a strong desire to learn and develop skills in the pastry arts.
- **Skills**:
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
