**About Playcore Studio**:
Playcore Studio is an emerging indie game development studio passionate about building fun, unique, and visually compelling 2D and 3D games. We are currently working on our first few titles, including a visually rich 2D puzzle-platformer that aims to stand out in the mobile and PC gaming market.

**Role: 2D Game Artist (Intern)**
We are looking for a creative and committed 2D Game Artist intern to join our team. If you enjoy designing game worlds, characters, and in-game visuals, and want to work on a real game project from scratch, this is a perfect opportunity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and illustrate 2D characters, environments, props, and UI elements.
- Create polished in-game assets, including:

- Characters with basic animations (idle, walking, action poses)
- Tilesets for platforming levels and layered backgrounds
- Game UI components like buttons, icons, and overlays
- Visual transformation effects (e.g., dull to vibrant landscapes)
- Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure smooth integration of assets.
- Follow the game's overall visual direction and contribute original ideas where possible.

**Requirements**:

- A portfolio showing your 2D artwork (especially game-related work or concept art).
- Proficiency with tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Krita, Aseprite, or Procreate.
- Understanding of asset optimization and resolution for mobile games.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with a small team remotely.
- Bonus: Basic frame-by-frame or sprite-based animation skills.

**Stipend Structure**:

- First 3 Months: Unpaid probation period.
- After 3 Months: Paid internship with a stipend of ₹7,000 per month.
- Note: If your performance is excellent, we may reduce the unpaid period to 2 months.

**Internship Duration**:
Total 6 months (3 months unpaid probation + 3 months paid)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
