The BT Assistant in the Department of Tamil will be responsible for teaching Tamil language to students in grades 9-12. The specific responsibilities.

**Responsibilities.**
- Develop and deliver lessons: The B.T. Assistant will develop and deliver lessons to students in Tamil language. They will prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, assignments, and assessments to evaluate student learning.
- Grade assignments and exams: The B.T. Assistant will grade assignments, exams, and other assessments in a timely and objective manner. They will provide constructive feedback to students and help them improve their Tamil language skills.
- Classroom management: The B.T. Assistant will maintain a positive and productive learning environment in the classroom. They will enforce discipline and ensure that students follow school policies and rules.
- Curriculum development: The B.T. Assistant may be responsible for developing or revising the Tamil language curriculum based on the school's goals and objectives. They will keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies and instructional technologies to enhance the learning experience.
- Student engagement: The B.T. Assistant will encourage student engagement and participation in class. They will facilitate discussions, debates, and other activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration among students.
- Academic advising: The B.T. Assistant may provide academic advising to students on matters related to Tamil language studies. They will work closely with other faculty members, administrators, and parents to ensure that students are receiving the support they need to succeed.
- Professional development: The B.T. Assistant will engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance their teaching skills and knowledge of Tamil language. They may attend conferences, workshops, or other training programs to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and practices in language education.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Tamil or related field.
- Experience teaching Tamil language to students in a secondary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other faculty members.
- Proficiency in Tamil language.
