The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the inventory and supplies of the café to ensure smooth operations. He will be in charge of receiving, storing, and distributing materials, equipment, and supplies. His attention to detail and organizational skills will be vital in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that the café always has the necessary items on hand.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive deliveries of food, beverages, equipment, and supplies, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Properly store all items in designated areas, ensuring appropriate storage conditions such as temperature and humidity.
- Monitor inventory levels and anticipate supply needs to prevent shortages.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking usage and expiration dates.
- Rotate stock and manage inventory to minimize waste and spoilage.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with records.
- Prepare and place orders for replenishment of stock as needed, considering budget constraints and inventory turnover.
- Work closely with the cafe manager and kitchen staff to coordinate supply needs and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide support during inventory counts and assist with stocktaking procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries.
- Handle returns or exchanges of defective or incorrect items.
- Train and supervise other staff members involved in receiving and storing goods, if necessary.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to inventory management.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with colleagues and vendors.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage.
- Flexibility to work during weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Pay: Up to ₹180,000.00 per year
