**Job Description: ICT Teacher (Grades 1, 2, and 3)**
**Location**: UNICENT School, Miyapur Campus
**Position**: ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Teacher
**Grade Level**: 1, 2, and 3
**Reporting To**: Head of Department / Principal

**Job Summary**:
UNICENT School, Miyapur Campus is seeking a passionate and dynamic ICT Teacher for the primary grades (1, 2, and 3) who will create an engaging, age-appropriate learning environment. The ICT Teacher will introduce and develop basic digital literacy, computer skills, and technological awareness in young students, ensuring that learning is both fun and educational. The teacher will foster students' curiosity about technology and help them integrate ICT tools in their daily learning activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning and Delivery**:

- Develop and deliver interactive and engaging ICT lessons tailored to the needs of Grade 1, 2, and 3 students.
- Implement hands-on activities that encourage creativity and problem-solving.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore technology.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure effective use of technology during lessons.
- Support students in using technology responsibly and ethically.
- **Assessment and Feedback**:

- Assess students' progress through both formative and summative methods, including quizzes, projects, and digital portfolios.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding progress in ICT skills.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials based on individual student needs and progress.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the teaching team to integrate ICT across the curriculum.
- Attend regular departmental meetings to discuss student progress, curriculum development, and innovative teaching practices.
- Collaborate with other educators to ensure ICT resources are used effectively for student-centered learning.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in ICT education and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Attend professional development workshops, training sessions, and school-wide events as required.
- **Technology Integration and Innovation**:

- Encourage the use of educational technology to enhance students' learning experiences.
- Foster digital creativity by introducing students to coding, graphic design, and simple multimedia production (age-appropriate).
- Assist in the maintenance and management of classroom technology, ensuring all equipment is functional.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualifications**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field. A teaching certification or diploma in education is preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience teaching ICT to young children (Grades 1-3) is highly desirable.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, engaging way.
- **Passion for Education**: A genuine interest in nurturing young learners and making technology fun and accessible.
- **Patience and Flexibility**: Ability to work with young children, adapt to their learning needs, and manage various learning speeds and styles.
