**Reports to**: Social Media Manager / Marketing Manager**Job Summary**:
The Social Media Intern supports the social media team in executing social media campaigns, creating content, and engaging with audiences on various platforms. This role involves assisting with content scheduling, monitoring social media trends, and analyzing performance metrics. The intern will gain practical experience in social media marketing and digital communication strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**:1. Content Creation & Management**:

- Assist in creating engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, images, videos, and stories.
- Help with content scheduling and posting according to the social media calendar.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement creative ideas and campaigns.

**2. Social Media Monitoring & Engagement**:

- Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond in a timely and professional manner.
- Engage with followers, answer questions, and encourage interaction to build community and brand loyalty.
- Track and report on social media engagement and interactions.

**3. Research & Trend Analysis**:

- Conduct research on current social media trends, tools, and best practices to provide insights and recommendations.
- Analyze competitor social media activities and industry trends to inform content strategies.
- Assist with identifying and leveraging relevant hashtags and keywords for increased visibility.

**4. Performance Reporting**:

- Help with collecting and analyzing social media performance data, including metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversions.
- Prepare reports and summaries on social media activities and campaign performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve social media strategies.

**5. Administrative Support**:

- Assist with maintaining social media accounts, ensuring profiles are updated and accurate.
- Support the team with administrative tasks related to social media campaigns and projects.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating social media events or promotions.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Basic knowledge of social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is advantageous.
- **Creativity**: Ability to generate fresh and engaging content ideas and concepts.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- **Analytical Skills**: Basic understanding of social media metrics and performance analysis.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with social media advertising or campaign management.
- Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
- Familiarity with video editing software and tools.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
