_**a. Electrical Equipment related**:_
- To use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools and testing equipment including ammeters and test lamps.
- To install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors, washing machines and vacuum cleaner
- To repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- To maintain Diesel Generator and UPS.
- Trouble shooting lifts maintenance issues.
- To work from ladders, scaffolds and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures.
- To place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls or other concealed areas and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
- To construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications.
- To fasten small plastic boxes to walls to house electrical switches or outlets.
- **b. Safety Measures**:_
- To install, maintain and ensure all fire safety measures and equipment.
- To ensure that all electrical equipment’s are installed by taking necessary precautions.
- **c. Other Responsibilities**:_
- To maintain records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment by coordinating with the Facilities Manager.
- To perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
- To provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
- To provide assistance during emergencies by operating generators and driving needed vehicles.
- To monitor and maintain the display lights of the hospital.
- To Maintain diesel stock at least 1/2 tank at any point of time.
- Update of daily checklist of diesel generator and HT Switch Gear panel.
