Principal Accountabilities:

- Developing and conceptualizingElectrical & mechanical components and systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Creating detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
- Working closely with engineers and other team members to ensure designs align with project goals and timelines.
- Building prototypes models of Electrical components or systems to validate designs.
- Ensuring designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Identifying and resolving design issues or challenges that may arise during the development process.
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in design technology and techniques.
- Maintain record of the initial designs, client correspondences, detailed designs and drawings.
- Responsible for design and drafting of schematics, physical layouts, and enclosures for both electromechanical and control panels.
- Preparing E&I BOM from wiring, single line and layout drawings.
- Familiarize with MTC QMS system and adhere to it with respect design & development and attend periodic internal and external audits.
- Suggest improvements with respect to design process, external training and latest version of software available in the market for effective design.
- Familiar in instrument wiring, single line and Electrical control panel drawing.
- To ensure all the documentation records are maintained as per QMS. I need to add bullet points for all the documents.

Pre Requisites:

- 4-year degree in Engineering / diploma pertaining to particular design discipline would be advantageous
- 2+ years of experience in process design packages.
- Sound knowledge in softwares like Solid Works, AutoCAD 3D etc.
- Prefer oil and gas and EPC experience.
- Basic knowledge of International codes like ASME, API, etc.
- Exposure to international clients / consultants, Engineering standards and specifications.
