We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Counsellor to join our team. As a Senior Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to students in their academic journey. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students by helping them navigate through their educational goals and challenges.
- **Description**
- Conduct interviews with students to assess their needs and goals
- Provide academic advising and assistance to students, helping them select appropriate courses and develop educational plans
- Assist with education administration tasks, such as course registration and graduation requirements
- Utilize Ellucian or similar software to maintain student records and track progress
- Deliver presentations and engage in public speaking engagements to promote our services and programs
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address personal and academic concerns of students
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to ensure smooth operations
- Analyze student data and trends to identify areas for improvement in our advising services
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar systems is a plus

**Skills**:

- Strong experience in interviewing, academic advising, and education administration
- Proficient in using Ellucian or similar software for student record management
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Ability to provide individual and group counseling sessions effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze student data for program improvement
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar systems is a plus
