Java Bigdata Architect

**Description**- Your main responsibilities- Active involvement in Architecture, PoC development, change initiation, preparation, coordination and implementation
- Provide support during RFP or pre-sales activities to propose solutions using architecture best practices.
- Responsible for solutioning (functional/non-functional/system level), sizing, improving platform architecture and guiding the team through all phases of implementation
- Analyze and evaluate technology industry and market trends proactively to determine potential usage and impact
- Work with the other architects, designers and developers and contribute in overall product architecture, design and implementation.
- Experience in full product lifecycle from feature feasibility study/ defining solution to productionise and maintenance, taking ownership of complete feature delivery with quality
- Work with Product Management teams to understand the functional space, customers, markets we operate in and work with senior architects in the team to build products powered by data and analytics.
- Work with distributed teams, Dev Leads, Architects/Experts, Managers, counterparts in different locations, as well as with external teams.
- Contribute to Amadeus internal architecture communities.Technical Skills- You are an expert in Java, Webservices (SOAP & REST), Spring Core, Spring Boot, Hibernate.
- You have strong exposure to different architectural styles including SOA, Microservices, DDD, Event Driven Architecture, EAI.
- You are hands on in streaming (Kafka) and / or Messaging (MQ/JMS/Azure Service Bus) technologies.
- You have prior experience on end to end Enterprise middleware stack - API, Messaging, Streaming, Security, Observability
- You have clear understanding of different persistence layer (Relational, non-relational, caching)
- You have exposure to any of the public cloud platforms - Azure would be a plus.
- Experience in Micro-service architecture is a must have.
- Experience with logging management using Splunk/ELK including monitoring best practices
- Should have cracked problems on scale, performance in distributed computing environments.
- Expertise in best practices, design patterns, anti-patterns.
- Competency in professional engineering best practices and processes relating to software development lifecycle (scrum, architecture/design/coding standards, design/code reviews, unit testing, build processes, testing, operations, etc)
- Excellent collaboration as well as written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working with OpenShift and Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins is added advantage

**Job Requirements**
- Detailed Tech Stack:

- o Excellent command of OOPs in Java, and Angular. Knowledge of JavaScript / HTML is good to have.
- o Good knowledge and demonstrable experience in Cloud-based development (Docker container technology in Kubernetes / OpenShift preferred)
- o Hands-on experience in using data structures, and extended libraries in JAVA with knowledge of Design patterns
- o Excellent knowledge of microservices and their design patterns
- o Experience in XML, RestAPI is mandatory and Edifact
- o Good Experience with Troubleshooting and monitoring tools (Grafana, JMeter)
- o Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment is a plus
- o Deep understanding of non-functional requirements (NFR) and/or underlying technologies impacting the final solution
- o Nice to have added Knowledge on NoSQL Databases
- Expertise on High performance Application design
