**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities1. Teaching and Lesson Delivery**
- Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive English lessons for grades 6-8.
- Incorporate innovative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Teach key concepts such as grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, essay writing, and literature.
- Guide students in analyzing various forms of texts, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama.

**2. Assessment and Evaluation**
- Design and administer tests, quizzes, and assignments to assess students' progress.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and understanding.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and prepare progress reports.

**3. Classroom Management**
- Create a disciplined and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering respect and collaboration.
- Ensure lessons are delivered on time and in alignment with the curriculum.

**4. Student Development**
- Promote critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills among students.
- Encourage reading habits by recommending appropriate books and organizing reading activities.
- Identify and support students who require additional assistance to achieve learning goals.

**5. Collaboration and Communication**
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs.

**6. School Events and Activities**
- Contribute to school events such as literary fests, debates, assemblies, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Organize and oversee extracurricular activities related to English language and literature.

**7. Administrative Duties**
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and lesson plans.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, curriculum standards, and regulations.
- Assist with any other tasks assigned by the school management.

**Qualifications and Skills Educational Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.

**Experience**
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level.
- Familiarity with [CBSE/ICSE/State Board/International] curriculum is an advantage.

**Skills and Attributes**
- Strong command of the English language (both written and verbal).
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Ability to connect with students and inspire a love for learning.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching and classroom activities.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and adaptable with a passion for teaching.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
