**Roles and Responsibilities**

This position requires at least about 5-7 years of experience in asset management compliances and reasonable understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to asset management businesses in India (including SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, SEBI (Portfolio Managers) Regulations and other relevant applicable regulations, and financial crime requirements. The following are certain high level job description of this profile:
- (a) Dealing with various alerts generated related to sanctions, AML, negative news and suspicious transaction monitoring as per the business processes and timely escalation of positive alerts;

(b) Assist in identification of compliance risks and potential impacts on the business and provide guidance to business on compliance advisory requirements, including supporting the Compliance team to implement policies for the anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, sanctions, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-tax evasion facilitation and fraud risk management framework to meet organization’s requirements and local legislations;

(c) Assist in implementing policy and standards, controls, systems and policies;

(e) Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to compliance risk;

(f) Assist in providing advices to business in country on risk associated with prospective business, products and service and design mitigation controls and strategies as appropriate;

(g) Involved in and responsible for minimizing risk with potential compliance liability.

(h) Assist in timely and efficient submission of various compliance reporting to the Group and regulatory submissions. This also includes providing timely and relevant risk information to senior management and governance forums

(i) Assisting in discharging regulatory obligations by identifying and containing compliance risks by monitoring, escalation, reporting, etc. and fostering a compliance culture within the entity.
