**Job Summary**:
The Waiter is responsible for providing high-quality customer service in a dining setting. This includes greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that customers have an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. The Waiter works in close coordination with kitchen and bar staff to ensure food and drinks are delivered accurately and promptly.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers as they arrive and provide them with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus to guests, explain menu items, and make recommendations as needed.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, and ensure they are communicated to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Provide guests with information on daily specials, wine pairings, and other menu items.
- Handle customer inquiries and requests promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Respond to any concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- **Order Taking & Service**:

- Ensure orders are accurately entered into the POS system and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Check back with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
- Ensure proper presentation of food and beverages, according to restaurant standards.
- Clear tables of used dishes and utensils promptly to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- **Food and Beverage Knowledge**:

- Stay knowledgeable about the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions effectively.
- Be familiar with the beverage list, including alcoholic drinks, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages, and provide recommendations.
- Understand the restaurant's policies and procedures for handling special dietary requests, allergies, and food preferences.
- **Table Maintenance**:

- Ensure that tables are set up properly before guest arrival, including arranging cutlery, napkins, glassware, and condiments.
- Ensure tables are cleaned, set, and ready for new guests as quickly as possible.
- Maintain a clean and organized station throughout the shift.
- **Payment and Checkout**:

- Present bills to guests, process payments, and provide change as necessary.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment in accordance with restaurant policies.
- Ensure the accuracy of the bill, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- **Collaboration and Teamwork**:

- Work as part of a team with other waitstaff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist colleagues when necessary, particularly during busy periods or to help with service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve service.
- **Health & Safety Compliance**:

- Follow health and safety regulations regarding food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Ensure all food and beverages are handled in accordance with food safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all restaurant policies and procedures, including dress code and personal hygiene standards.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Food Safety and Hygiene certification (may be required or offered upon hiring).
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role (preferred, but not required).
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant or hotel environment is a plus.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
