The Nurse Practitioner is a Registered Nurse who possesses additional clinical and didactic education to function at an advanced level of nursing practice. They will be clinically competent in physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment and management of health-illness needs to provide direct patient care and education to employees. The NP consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Medical Center and serves as a role model to other employees.

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Desired:

- Acute care experience
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Certification for DMV physical for FMCSA
- Occupational Health Experience including Workers Compensation

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:

- Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner Furnisher with the California Board of Registered Nursing
- Meets Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) criteria to bill Medicare
- Current AHA-HCP CPR recognition
- Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff and Finance office

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must have the confidence and experience to work independently with diverse patient populations and experience in accessing specialty referrals and community resources. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Must have the ability to lead, motivate, delegate, analyze information and problem solve. Behavior should be reflective of Enloe Medical Center core values. Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
