Job Title: Planner
Experience: 4+ Years
Location: Pune

Shift: 6:30 pm to 3:30 am.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develops and maintains a robust 24-month production and stock deployment plan to meet service and inventory targets.
- Ensures availability of packed goods by planning shipments across the distribution network while minimizing obsolescence.
- Manages end-to-end production planning for finished goods and intermediate oils, ensuring supply meets demand.
- Reviews daily supply shortages, conducts root cause analysis (RCA), and drives continuous improvement (CI) actions.
- Collaborates with Demand Managers to ensure accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and effective demand control.
- Coordinates weekly production schedules with manufacturing based on capacity and material availability.
- Maintains optimal inventory levels, reviews slow-moving and excess stock, and takes corrective actions.
- Supports new product introductions (NPI) and product lifecycle changes in alignment with production and DRP plans.
- Leads crisis response efforts related to supply disruptions and participates in Incident Management Teams.
- Drives data accuracy and process consistency by coordinating with Master Data teams and Plant Schedulers.

Previous Experience:

- Proven experience working across a variety of supply chain planning roles.
- Knowledge and experience of Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) and a good understanding of its importance to the business.
- Solid understanding of planning systems, preferable Kinaxis Rapid Response.
- Able to work well under sustained pressure with conflicting demands, optimizing resources and responding to constantly evolving circumstances.
- Experience in Sales and Customer management within the Lubricants business, finance or supply chain is desirable
- Experience of working with a team with dynamic strengths across different geographies

Technical Competencies:

- Able to use formulae and calculate quickly Analytical Understanding and Implementing Marketing Strategy and Programs
- Skillful Sector, Market, Customer, and Competitor Understanding - Basic
- Level 3 In Understanding Supply Chain, Aggregate Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), Inventory Planning and Planning MPS or equivalent experience systems (SAP/APO; Kinaxis Rapid Response).
- Level 3: in Master Production Scheduling (MPS or equivalent experience) and RCCP.
