We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Accounts Executive** to join our finance team and help manage the company’s financial operations.
**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Accounts Payable & Receivable**:
- Manage the accounts payable process by processing invoices, verifying transactions, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Oversee accounts receivable by preparing client invoices, tracking payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
- **Financial Transactions**:
- Record daily financial transactions, including general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounting records regularly to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- **Invoicing & Billing**:
- Prepare and issue invoices for clients, ensuring accuracy in billing details and compliance with contracts.
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely receipt of payments and handle any billing inquiries.
- **Tax & Compliance Support**:
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other tax-related filings and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Support the finance manager with preparing and submitting necessary documents for audits and regulatory compliance.
- **Financial Reporting**:
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Provide financial data and reports to the senior management team as required.
- **General Ledger Management**:
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring proper classification and coding of transactions.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data through regular reviews and reconciliations.
- **Expense Management**:
- Monitor and track company expenses, including project-related costs and overheads.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports to support decision-making.
**Key Requirements**:
- **Experience**:
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction, real estate, or a related industry.
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- **Skills**:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as **Tally ERP** or **Zoho Books**.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Good knowledge of tax regulations, GST, and TDS compliance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
