Job Title: Waiter/Waitress

Reports to: Restaurant Manager or Supervisor

Job Summary:
Provide exceptional dining experiences for customers by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:

- Greet and welcome customers, taking orders and serving food and beverages
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions
- Ensure prompt and attentive service

1. Order Taking and Delivery:

- Accurately take orders and relay to kitchen staff
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and efficiently
- Ensure orders are accurate and complete

1. Table Management:

- Manage table assignments and seating
- Monitor table status and adjust service accordingly
- Ensure tables are clean and set for new customers

1. Menu Knowledge:

- Familiarize yourself with menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Make recommendations and answer customer questions

1. Cash Handling:

- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and mobile payments
- Process bills and handle customer payments

1. Teamwork:

- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers
- Assist colleagues during peak periods

1. Safety and Cleanliness:

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Adhere to health and safety regulations

**Requirements**:
1. Previous serving experience preferred

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

3. Ability to multitask and work under pressure

4. Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash

5. Knowledge of food, beverages, and menu items

6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
