**Position Overview**:
The Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) - English will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature to senior secondary students (grades XI and XII), following the curriculum guidelines of [CBSE/ICSE/State Board]. The teacher should inspire students to appreciate literature, master the nuances of language, and develop critical reading and writing skills. The role demands not only academic instruction but also mentorship and participation in the literary and co-curricular life of the school.

**Key Responsibilities:Academic Instruction**:

- Plan and deliver structured, engaging, and creative lessons in English Literature and Language for grades 11 and 12.
- Design comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Incorporate modern pedagogical practices including project-based learning, differentiated instruction, and ICT integration.
- Use diverse teaching strategies to cater to varied learning styles and student capabilities.

**Assessment & Evaluation**:

- Design and administer formative and summative assessments.
- Prepare students for internal and board examinations through practice tests, mock exams, and revision sessions.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain detailed academic records.
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support as needed.

**Literary Engagement**:

- Foster a love for reading, writing, and creative expression among students.
- Organize and mentor students for literary activities such as debates, elocutions, essay competitions, and school publications.
- Guide students in preparing for inter-school and national-level English competitions.

**Classroom Management**:

- Maintain discipline and a safe, respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Promote values of respect, inclusivity, and cooperation within the class.
- Manage attendance, behavioral logs, and academic progress reports efficiently.

**Collaboration & Professional Development**:

- Collaborate with fellow educators in cross-disciplinary initiatives and curriculum development.
- Attend regular staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development workshops.
- Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings and school community events.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
