**Responsibilities**:
Teaching and Curriculum Development:
Teach Hindi to students from classes VI to X depending on the school's structure.
Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans and teaching materials.
Develop and update learning modules to facilitate better understanding of Hindi language and literature.

**Student Assessment and Support**:
Conduct assessments, exams, and assignments to evaluate student progress.
Identify students' strengths and weaknesses and provide remedial or extra classes as needed.
Maintain accurate records of students’ grades and performance.

**Extracurricular Activities**:
Organize and participate in extracurricular activities such as debates, quizzes, essay writing, theatre, and cultural events to promote the use of Hindi.
Mentor students for competitions and events.

**Pastoral and Supervisory Duties**:
Take on responsibilities related to student pastoral care in boarding schools.
Supervise students during sports and other school activities, ensuring their well-being and discipline.

**Professional Development**:
Engage in professional development through attending workshops, seminars, and staff meetings.
Stay updated with new teaching strategies and techniques to enhance content delivery.

**Requirements**:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi.
A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree or equivalent qualification.
Prior teaching experience is preferred, particularly in handling classesVI to X.
Strong pedagogical skills, including the ability to create engaging lesson plans and use innovative teaching methods.
Fluency in Hindi with effective communication and writing skills.

**Eligibility Criteria**:
Indian citizenship is required.
Overall, a TGT Hindi teacher plays a crucial role in fostering a love for the Hindi language and culture among students, while also supporting their overall academic and personal development.
