- Responsible to the doctors to ensure that their instruction s are carried out to speed up the recovery.
- Ensures timely completion of ADMISSION and DISCHARGE process as per the hospital policy.
- Check the patient and his medical record completely before transferring the patient out of the unit.
- Administer special treatment to patient and monitor to high clinical standard, priorities emergency and immediate care.
- Inform without delay the condition of patient turns serious or abnormal or event of death.
- Ensure that the staff nurses provide patients correct and timely diet as per the requirement.
- Checks and documents the equipment mal functions.
- Recognizes the rights and safety of the patient.
- Demonstrates accountability of nursing practice, co-ordinates the delivery of appropriate nursing care to patient.
- Ensure an effective communication network.
- Prepares duty roaster and leave plan for her/his unit. Prepares assignment of patient and nurse duties, placing the right staff for a right patient.
- Educates and supervises staff on all the infection control policy and hospital standard policy.
- Co-ordinates with house-keeping, maintenance, bio-medical engineering, patient services, billing, doctors Pharmacy, store and dietician for the on time services are provided to the patient
- Orient new staff on the unit function and imparts on - the job training
- Plans and implements professional knowledge through case studies
- Checks the patient medical record file for completion and accurate information
- Ensure proper handing over and taking over by the staff on change of shift duty
- Frequent assessment of patient to done
- All errors and negligence are reported to the nursing superintendent and submit the incident report form
- Stock Narcotics drugs under double check system and strict maintenance of the drug register to be maintained
- Reporting of all infected cases, related to infection control to the infection control nurse /NS
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
