We are seeking a skilled and motivated VMware vSphere Administrator with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. As a VMware vSphere Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our virtualization infrastructure based on VMware vSphere. Your role will involve deploying, configuring, and optimizing virtual machines, ensuring the availability and performance of virtualized environments, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain VMware vSphere infrastructure components, including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and virtual switches.
- Monitor and manage vSphere clusters, resource pools, and virtual machine performance.
- Implement vSphere security measures, such as role-based access controls and hardening guidelines.
- Create, deploy, and manage virtual machines in accordance with business requirements.
- Configure virtual machine settings, including CPU, memory, storage, and networking.
- Implement virtual machine templates and automated provisioning processes.
- Monitor virtual machine and host performance using vSphere tools.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct capacity planning and recommend infrastructure upgrades or modifications.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies for virtual machines and vSphere infrastructure.
- Perform regular backups and test restoration processes.
- Collaborate with the backup team to ensure data integrity and recoverability.
- Identify and resolve virtualization-related issues, such as performance problems or connectivity failures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to virtual machine provisioning, resource allocation, and networking.
- Collaborate with vendors or support teams for complex technical issues.
- Plan and execute vSphere version upgrades or migrations.
- Ensure compatibility of hardware, software, and firmware components.
- Maintain accurate documentation of vSphere configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Generate reports on vSphere performance, capacity, and health.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the team and the organization.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience as a VMware vSphere Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere infrastructure components, including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, and vSphere networking.
- Experience in deploying and managing virtual machines and templates.
- Familiarity with vSphere performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
- Understanding of backup and recovery strategies for virtualized environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to vSphere and virtual machines.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications, such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Associate (VCA), are a plus.
