**Job Title: Fibre Laser Cutting and Press Brake Machine Programmer**

Job Overview: As a Fibre Laser Cutting and Press Brake Machine Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and operating both the fibre laser cutting machine and the press brake machine to produce precision sheet metal components. You will work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure efficient and accurate production of parts, while maintaining high quality standards. Your expertise in programming and operating these machines will play a crucial role in meeting production deadlines and customer requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Program and set up the fibre laser cutting machine and the press brake machine based on engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
- Select appropriate tooling and materials for each job, and make adjustments as needed to optimize production.
- Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software for the fibre laser cutting and press brake machines.
- Load and unload materials onto the machines, and monitor the production process to ensure smooth operation and quality output.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of the machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback on manufacturability and suggest improvements for process efficiency.
- Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specifications, and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Train and mentor junior operators as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training or certifications in CNC programming and machine operation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in programming and operating fibre laser cutting and press brake machines.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, including material handling, cutting, bending, and forming.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to adhere to them at all times.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
