**Education**: Electronics/ Information/Computer Science /Electrical Engineering degree.

**Mandatory Skills**:Automotive, Bench Testing / HIL testing With ETAS toolchain, Python/CAPL & CAN communication protocol & Diagnostics-UDS.

As part of the Technical R&D (TRD) organization, the System Validation Propulsion systems team member is responsible for developing reusable components, make improvements to test design/execution, setting up bench set ups for project teams ensuring the project expectations and Quality objectives are met.

**Scope includes**
Setup Work bench/Station wrt. project need
Support project teams to use and maintain the bench
Upgradation and efficiency improvement of bench

**Main activities/responsibilities**
- Perform the test design and execution as per the plan. Review the detail plan prepared by the Lead. Highlight the risks (if any).
- Highlight the risks to the Lead (any risks related to time plan, leaves, licenses, open queries, etc.)
- Support the team to prepare the test frame work (Manual or Automated, depending on need).
- Maintain reusable components In configuration Management system & update them based on feedback received from project teams.
- Understand project needs & propose efficient test system/design.
- Adhere to the template to be used for all kinds of documentation and respect the quality of documentation.
- Inform the Team leader in case of need of any particular training and get him/her enrolled
- Promote common testing platform
- Adhere to the standard Software development life cycle, driving the related tailoring activities for the project, submitting improvement proposals whenever suitable.
- Ensure the deployment of the tailored methodology & Scripts reuse strategy as defined in the System Validation Plan.
- Report the status, issues and progress of the Bench set up to the Lead, deploying and maintaining project-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Suggest project teams how to efficiently use existing test equipment & promote sharing of equipment across project teams.

**Key Skills**
Scripting language ( Pytho/ Capl)
Knowledge of electronics components and H/W parameters.
Knowledge of CAN communication protocol & Diagnostics-UDS
Product knowledge (powertrain).
Embedded SW development process (full V-cycle).
ASPICE and Agile methodology.
Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) knowledge.
ETAS toolchain, MATLAB modelling.—NO Dspace

More than 3 years of experience in Test solution development and execution
More than 2 years of experience in automotive test Solution development and validation
