Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in English Literature, Language, and Communication.
Design and deliver lectures, assignments, and examinations as per curriculum guidelines.
Supervise student research, projects, and dissertations.
Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning.
Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, and workshops.
Engage in scholarly research and publish in reputed journals.
Mentor students and support their academic and career growth.
Assist in organizing academic and extracurricular activities.
Uphold academic integrity and institutional policies.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in English / English Literature / Linguistics / Communication from a recognized university (mandatory).
Ph.D. in English or NET/SET qualified (preferred as per UGC norms).
Teaching or research experience at the college/university level is desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using technology for teaching and academic work.
Preferred Skills:
Subject expertise in areas like British Literature, Indian Writing in English, Literary Criticism, Linguistics, or ELT.
Ability to integrate modern pedagogical methods and digital tools in teaching.
Commitment to academic excellence and student engagement.
