**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Sales Strategy**:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the agricultural sector.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to capitalize on emerging growth areas.
- Analyze sales data and market insights to inform decision-making and optimize sales strategies.
**2. Team Leadership**:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of agricultural sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team's continuous professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture that promotes accountability and excellence.
**3. Customer Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points to tailor solutions and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expert guidance and support to address their agricultural challenges.
**4. Product Knowledge and Marketing Support**:
- Stay informed about the company's products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials, campaigns, and sales tools to support sales efforts.
- Provide feedback and insights from the field to inform product development and marketing strategies.
**5. Sales Performance Monitoring and Reporting**:
- Monitor sales performance metrics, including revenue targets, sales pipeline, and market share, and take proactive measures to address any deviations from targets.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses for senior management to evaluate sales performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize sales effectiveness and efficiency.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in agricultural sales, with a minimum of **7** y + in a sales management or leadership role.
- Deep understanding of the agricultural industry, including market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of effectively leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical abilities and the ability to translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving sales growth, achieving targets, and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in sales CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales and marketing tools.
