**Job Summary**: We are seeking a talented and experienced Purchase Executive specializing in interior design to join our team. A Purchase Executive in the interior design industry plays a pivotal role in managing the procurement of materials, fixtures, and furnishings essential for design projects. The position involves sourcing high-quality, cost-effective supplies, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery to meet project timelines. The Purchase Executive collaborates closely with design teams to understand material requirements, maintains strong vendor relationships, and oversees inventory management. They are responsible for ensuring that all purchased items adhere to the required quality standards and align with the company's sustainability and budgetary goals. The role requires excellent negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
**Vendor Management**:

- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors.
- Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms of supply.

**Procurement**:

- Sourcing materials, furniture, fixtures, and fittings required for interior design projects.
- Ensuring that materials meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Managing purchase orders, inventory, and stock levels.

**Cost Management**:

- Monitoring budgets and ensuring procurement within budget constraints.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.

**Market Research**:

- Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and materials in the interior design market.
- Researching new products and suppliers to enhance project outcomes.

**Coordination and Collaboration**:

- Working closely with design teams to understand material requirements and project timelines.
- Coordinating with project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Liaising with suppliers and logistics teams for smooth supply chain operations.

**Quality Control**:

- Conducting quality checks on received materials.
- Resolving any issues related to defective or substandard materials.

**Documentation and Compliance**:

- Maintaining accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventories.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to procurement.

**Logistics Management**:

- Overseeing the transportation and delivery of materials to project sites.
- Managing any logístical challenges and ensuring timely delivery.

**Reporting**:

- Preparing reports on procurement activities, expenses, and supplier performance.
- Providing insights and recommendations for improving procurement processes.

**Sustainability**:

- Promoting the use of sustainable and eco-friendly materials.
- Ensuring procurement practices align with the company’s sustainability goals.

**Qualification and Skills**:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Interior Design, or a related field.

1-5years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the interior design industry.

Experience in inventory management, supplier negotiation, and logistics coordination.

Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management and procurement processes.

Familiarity with the latest trends, materials, and products in the interior design industry.

Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly materials and practices.

Awareness of quality standards and compliance regulations relevant to the interior design industry.
