**Job Title**:Production Chemist

**Location**:Santej, Ahmedabad

**Department**:Production/Manufacturing

**Salary Range**:2.5-3.5 LPA

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetics, Cosmeceuticals, Pharmacy, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in Production/Manufacturing, preferably in cosmetic product development and testing.

**Basic Skill Sets Required**:

- Proficient in cosmetics product & batch manufacturing.
- Excellent English reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- **Batch Preparation**: Execute batch preparation processes according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for various cosmetic products.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate and maintain production equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
- **Inventory Management**: Manage inventory of raw materials and ensure their availability for production activities.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of batch production, including batch logs, formulations, and any deviations encountered.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and address any issues that arise during batch preparation, such as equipment malfunctions or deviations from SOPs.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
- **Collaboration**:Coordinate with other departments such as R&D, Quality Assurance, Sales, and Packaging to support smooth production processes.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality in batch preparation.

**Salary**: ₹20,833.00 - ₹29,166.00 per month
